I just sent a goatworld 911 email but wanted to post to the list as well. Figures we are getting ready to go on vacation in the morning.
About 30 min ago, went outside and our Boer Billy a little over 1 yr old is not quite down, but getting there. It seems as though his hind end is almost paralized, although he can move a little, and he is bobbing his head from side to side, he is I would say Lathargic.
No vomiting, can't find the thermometer, no scouring, no screaming like his in pain. My son went out to look for any Mt Laurel and did not find any, although there may be other plants out there that I do not know about. The other goats are fine. Sniffing his hind end though??
He had Goat Chow last nights feeding, and he has been grazing on the grass and whatever is in the woods, same as the other goats.
Any suggestions?? I am waiting by the computer..
Thanx Helene
