When horses are that sore they get shoes and pads or they are just sore until the bruises heal. I would be careful where you walk the goats, like don't go over any rocks. But I do think you should keep them up on the feet if at all possible. From the experiance I have had it doesn't take long for a goats legs to atrophy and become stuck. Once this happens it can be corrected but it takes a lot of time and work. It would be much easier to just keep it from happening at all. How many horses and donkeys do you have we are up to 7 horses and are considering 2donkeys or lamas as guardians for our goats/sheep. Good Luck.
