We did show in 4H this year and are planning to go to one more show yet this year. We used a clipmaster with a #10 blade for the body clip. Then we used a smaller clipper an A5 with a 30 blade for the legs, ears, face, udder. We didn't do anything more with the muzzle than that. With the hooves we did a good trim and scrubbing and then with the black hooves we polished them black and just shone up the light hooves with a clear shoe polish. I used show sheen on their body and that really made them look good. We used baby wipes to clean out their ears and under their tails in that crease. We also put some baby oil on their knees to make the knee pads look nicer. One tip I wish I had known is that the night before the show you get the goats feet all pretty and then put socks on their feet and tape them on so in the morning you just take the socks off and their feet are all pretty still, not caked with poop from sticky nervouse poop that they do, being away from home. I think that about covers it, oh yah, we used the little choke chains you get for dogs and connected them with a key chain ring so that it didn't slide and choke the goats. We used a regular lead rope to handle them until we went into the show ring. It was fun, can't wait to do it again. Dalice
