If the does are cycling then Teddy can do the job. I believe that since Boers are a tropical breed (come from an area where it stays hot most of the time, no seasons) they cycle pretty much year round. The bucklings would be sexually mature earlier too. So if the girls will let him he is probably quite capable of getting them pregnant. With another tropial breed, pygmy goats we have to separate the buckling out by 10 to 12 weeks old, they are beginning to become fertile at that tender age. Early on in my goat raising days I thought that one little buckling was too short to do the deed, so he got to ride loose in the back of the van with his mom. It was only a 20 minute drive but 5 months later she kidded with his daughter (sister?)! I've been really careful since then, better safe than sorry!
