"Virus Alert - Potential Virus Threats"

As many of you know, the spread of viruses across the Internet through newsgroups, lists, and everyday email has become a very annoying and sometimes extremely harmful threat to each of us. As a courtesy to all GoatWorld visitors and members alike, I have created this page to keep everyone up to date on potential threats being spread.

Please note, this list is comprised of "email virus threats" being sent by certain addresses on a frequent or infrequent basis. Certain names may appear that you recognize as friends or relatives. Just because they are listed does not mean that they are actually sending the virus knowingly. They may have been infected at one time and their email address has "wormed" itself into other address books.

At any rate, if we work together to protect ourselves and notify others of a potential problem, we can hopefully reduce these threats and reduce the risk of infecting our own computers. If you have anti-virus software installed and repeatedly receive email conatining a virus, or suspect that an email contains a virus, I strongly recommend submitting it to Symantec at their virus submission link.
