You didn't say what breed of goat. But never the less all goats go into heat about every 18-22 days. Most dairy breeds only cycle part of the year. Pygmies (my speciality) cycle year round. And some of the does are very vocal! I've been known to rush out to the pasture just knowing that one of the does is badly injured only to find she is advertising her readiness to the world. Luckily this only lasts for about a day.
