Sandy, We know how you feel for sure. It happened to us years ago and that is when we got out of goat raising the first time. They killed all the ones we had at that time. We came home and dea goats all over. What a sight! Then the neighbors dog came and ran our long horn cattle through the fence and down through a corn field. They came and got the dog and never offered help to round up the cattle or pay for damages or anything. We WILL shoot any dog we catch on our place now with no questions asked. Collar or no collar. They better keep the dogs home. Like your animals, ours doesn't leave the place and I expect the same respect. It is never easy to loose animals and you are in my thoughts for sure.
